This short animation was created for a school assignment. We were tasked with creating a clip of no more than 10 seconds in the style of a title sequence, with an emphasis on displaying text in a unique fashion. The Maya scene was kept quick and simple, and most of the effects were done in post using After Effects CS5. The exercise was useful in learning how to combine multiple render passes, masks, and effects to create a refined final product.
